Gemma Collins-Little

Associate Solicitor

Gemma joined CPC Lawyers in 2024, her role is in the Associate Solicitor specialising in Family Law, Divorce and children and parenting matters.

 

Gemma graduated from Flinders University, South Australia, in 2021 with a degree in Laws & Legal Practice. Following her admission to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in February 2022, she commenced her professional journey.

Drawing from over five years of diverse experience in Family Law, Gemma specialises in parenting matters, Divorce, Property Settlements (including de-facto property), Wills & Estate planning, Probate/Letters of Administration Applications, disputed Estates, Discretionary Trusts, and Civil Litigation. Her dedication to the field earned her recognition in 2023 as one of South Australia's top Family Lawyers under 35.

Gemma's passion lies in mediation and conflict resolution, where she excels in fostering self-determination among parties. As a family lawyer, she prides herself on her empathetic and understanding approach, particularly in parenting matters, striving for optimal outcomes for her clients and their children. With a focus on financial settlement matters, Gemma prioritises her clients' interests, offering clarity, support and guidance throughout the legal process. Her ultimate aim is to provide tailored solutions that offer trust, reassurance, and relief during challenging times for her clients and their families.

Raised in the Adelaide Hills with strong ties to her New Zealand heritage, Gemma's commitment to family values deeply influences her legal practice. She aims to simplify the legal process for her clients while maintaining the highest standards of service, offering support with a down-to-earth, logical, and contemporary perspective.

Beyond her legal work, Gemma enjoys nature-based activities such as beach walks, snorkeling, and paddle boarding with her beloved dogs. She values quality time with her family, friends, and pets, often sharing her passion for music through casual acoustic gigs with her partner at local venues in southern Adelaide.
